FIRST TALK
WITH SARA SOZZANI MAINO

Fashion isn't everything. Especially for us, since caring for the environment has been at the top of our list since day one. For this reason, we're happy to inaugurate Green B Talks, new virtual panels dedicated to sustainability.

Sponsor and moderator of the first talk "A New Awareness for Radical Change” is Sara Sozzani Maino, deputy director of Vogue Italy. She is joined by three special guests who have explored the theme from their point of view and have reflected upon them in various ways.

Hakan Karosman, professor of the "Just Transition" project at the University of Dublin, discusses in detail what the fashion industry should do to have a more responsible production chain. Marina Spadafora, design consultant, emphasises the importance of education and the crucial role that training programs have in order to promote a greater awareness and spread the culture of sustainability. Matteo Ward, co-founder of the start-up WRÅD, explains what fashion brands can do to put into place radical change and strive for design with a reduced environmental impact.

Check out the video from the first Green B Talk and follow us so you don't miss the first one, on Wednesday 26 May, with digital artist Joerg Zuber.
